WHAT TO BRING

What to Bring to Kemur -a guideline, please call if you have any questions or concerns

Girls have been bringing pre-packed plastic drawers to camp. Plastic bins are also acceptable, please no metal edged trunks.

Horse Stuff

•Riding helmet, each is required to bring their own SEI approved helmet.
•Hairnet or hair elastic to keep long hair tidy
•Shoes/boots with a small heel (Blundstones, paddock boots, rubber boots)

•Riding gloves (optional, but a good idea!)
•Half chaps/breeches (or jeans/comfortable pants for riding)
•Tall socks for boots
•Riding Safety Vests (optional, available at tack stores only)

•Horse treats (keep in mind carrots and apples go moldy quickly in the summer, molasses treats are great

Bedtime Stuff

•Single fitted sheet and blankets or sleeping bag •Pillow
•Pajamas
•Your favourite stuffy

•Flashlight
•Book, Magazine •Writing kit and stamps

Shower/Swim Stuff

•Bathing suit (2 is a good idea)
•Sunscreen, sunhat, sunglasses
•Towels-one for swimming and one for showering, wash cloth
•Shower “caddy” keep shampoo, soap, etc
•Personal toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, lip balm, Band- Aids, feminine hygiene products)
•Sandals

Other Stuff

•T-shirts and tank tops •Shorts
•Long sleeve shirts •Comfy pants •Raincoat

•Running shoes
•Insect Repellent
•Camera
•Socks and underwear
•Refillable water bottle
•Laundry bag to hang on bunk
•Food-a SMALL amount of personal snacks that can be kept at your bunk is permitted. Please no peanut or tree nut products.

Please be sure to mark all items brought to camp with your child’s full name. Paddock boots all look alike and are similar sizes, please label clearly. Please leave all valuables at home, this includes fans, hairdryers, flat irons and jewelry.
